This Privacy Policy describes how RecipeBox ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the app:
- Account data: email and basic profile information when you sign in.
- Recipes you save: URLs, photos, and notes that you import or create in the app.
- Diagnostic data: anonymous crash reports and performance metrics.
How we use your information
- To provide and improve the RecipeBox app.
- To sync your recipes across your devices.
- To respond to support requests.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the app (e.g. cloud hosting), and only as needed to provide the service.
Third-party content
When you import a recipe from a third-party site or app (e.g. TikTok, Instagram), we fetch the public content from that source to extract recipe information. We do not store credentials for those services.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. Deleting your account removes your recipes and account data from our systems.
Children
RecipeBox is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
